TextYess raises €4 million to build the Autonomous CRM for ecommerce

Milan, October 5, 2026

The seed extension, led by Italian Founders Fund, brings the company’s total funding to more than €7 million. It will fund the expansion of the product and the company’s move into international markets, starting with the UK.

Milan, Italy — October 5, 2026 — TextYess, the AI CRM for ecommerce brands, today announced a €4 million extension of its seed round, led by Italian Founders Fund, with participation from existing investors VC Partners and Entourage. The round brings the company’s total funding to more than €7 million. More than 350 ecommerce brands already use TextYess, including leading brands such as Ducati, Veralab, Pittarosso.

The round funds a clear thesis: CRM software gives brands tools, but the work still falls on their teams, and doing more of it means hiring more people. CRM is one of the biggest revenue drivers in ecommerce, and one of the hardest to run well. Every new channel, segment and campaign adds work, and teams rarely grow at the same pace. The result is revenue left on the table: messages that could be personal go out the same to everyone, and opportunities in the data never get acted on.

TextYess is building the system that does that work with AI: a CRM, and the agents that operate it.

The CRM brings every customer’s orders, conversations and behaviour into one profile. On top of it, TextYess agents find the opportunities worth acting on each week, build the segments, write the campaigns and flows, and run them across email, WhatsApp and the website. The ecommerce team gets the work of a full CRM function without new hires. The brand always stays in control: at first the agents propose and the team approves, but then they take on more autonomy as they prove their results.

“When we started TextYess, we gave brands a channel that performs better: WhatsApp, run by AI agents that turn conversations into sales. Working with more than 350 brands, we learned that the real limit was never the channel. It was the time to do the work. Brands know what they should send, and to whom. They don’t have the people to do all of it. So we’re building both: the CRM, and the AI agents that run it for them. And this is only the beginning,” says Riccardo Russo, CEO and co-founder of TextYess.

TextYess launched its AI agents on WhatsApp in 2024, answering customers, recommending products and recovering sales. Over the past months, a growing number of those brands have moved their entire CRM to TextYess. The new funding will scale that shift in two directions:

  • Product: growing the AI team and turning the Autonomous CRM, and the agents that operate it, into the platform every TextYess brand runs on.

  • International: expanding beyond Italy, starting with the UK, where TextYess already works with its first customers.

“We believe every ecommerce brand will soon have an AI workforce behind it, with a small team setting the direction. That’s what we’re building. CRM is where we start, but the same system and the same agents can run much more of ecommerce marketing: paid ads, search, social, the website. That is the opportunity in front of us,” adds Russo.
